Thank you for your interest in supporting our community by volunteering. Below are the current volunteer opportunities along with instructions on how to volunteer for them.
St. Patricks Day Run (Running Room) - March 16, 2025
The Running Room St. Patrick's Day run is on Sunday, February 16, 2025 and they have requested our assistance once again. The race starts and ends in Rundle Park at the Rundle Park Family Centre Washroom (2903 113 Ave NW). We will be on site for about 08:30 until somewhere around noon. The race route is the same as last year and Justin has informed me that lunch will be shepherds pie (actually country pie as it's made with beef). Dorthy worked so well for the Hypo Half that we will most likely deploying her once again for this race.

Ravenwood Music Festival - July 11-12, 2025
The Ravenwood Music Festival organizers have been delighted with our participation and have asked us to help again this year. we ahve three primary roles at teh festival:
Manage the volunteer / talent parking lot and control the traffic from it to the event site.
Provide radios for the event to use for their communication.
Provide net control, include weather/hazzard monitoring and emergency call out.
In addition to the actual event dates of July 11 and 12 we will need some help on July 10 and July 13 for trailer setup and decommissioning.
